Swedish Massage

Per hour (60 minutes) minutes: $90

Swedish Massage is a relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of techniques such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Orthopedic Massage

60 minutes: $90

Orthopedic massage focuses on treating painful conditions that affect the soft tissues of the body. Orthopedic massage is designed to treat medical conditions, and requires extensive training, integrating several types of massage techniques. It involves releasing tense muscles, helping to stretch and lengthen tight muscles and tendons so that overstretched ones can relax; and it decompresses rigid joints. My goal is to restore full health to the soft tissues of your body, treating your specific conditions as well as improving your overall well-being.

Deep Tissue Massage

Per hour minutes: $90

Deep Tissue Massage aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and 'muscle memory' of past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is important to make sure you are always comfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is common after the treatment.  Drink plenty of water  before and after, to help flush and remove toxins that will have been released from the tissues during the session. A series of 6-8 or more sessions are generally required to shift the muscle and body memory of injury or pain effectively.

Energy Healing

Per hour minutes: $90

Energy healing is a deeply relaxing experience. It supports clients to reduce stress and pain generally, restores emotional balance and helps clients to feel rejuvenated. Energy work facilitates healing pre and post-operatively, facilitates wound healing, helps to manage pain and energy levels and restore emotional balance during cancer treatments, and helps to reduce back and neck pain. Energy Healing works well alone and in conjunction with other mainstream or alternative or complementary care modalities.

As my massage practice grew, I became more and more aware of the role the bio-electromagnetic field of the body has in affecting and shifting our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual dis-eases.

From 2017 to 2024, I participated in advanced energy healing workshops developed by Awakening Healing Axis.com, focused on teaching practitioners advanced techniques for healing auto-immune conditions, fascia, and generational trauma. AHA’s work also supports practitioners and clients alike in self care, in recognizing energetic patterns that can shift to optimize healing and health!

In 2014, I became a Practitioner of Healing Touch Program. HTP was developed by a nurse, Janet Mentgen, and bridges the mainstream and complementary medicine worlds.  HTP Practitioners complete over 100 hours of documented sessions, along with various forms of written and class work within this rigorously structured study program, the first 'energy medicine' program to be certified by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Client self-care and self-healing practices are used between appointments, so investing client time and ‘energy’ to increase an internal sense of equilibrium and healing makes an even better use of the work!
